Word from Jerusalem: The Sacrificial System

Join us as we continue to explore the calling of Israel. In this episode, Juergen Buehler takes us through a real-life Tabernacle and tells about the exciting parallelism between the sacrificial system and the atonement of Jesus at the cross. Then Juha Ketola talks with Asher Intrater, a Messianic pastor and leader, about the church in Israel and the return of the Messiah.

Finally, in our ICEJ Report we visit the Haifa Home for Holocaust Survivors. Learn how you can support these precious people through the work of the ICEJ.

Word from Jerusalem: The Jewishness of Jesus

Many Christians today believe that the origins of the Church begins in the Book of Matthew but Paul explains in Galatians that God preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand when He said in Genesis 12, "In you all the families of the earth will be blessed."

Millions of people have been saved through the Bible, the book the Jewish people gave us. But, the Jewish people also gave us something the Bible calls "the Word which became flesh", the Messiah, Jesus. He came from the Jewish people and grew up in a Jewish town called Nazareth.

Word from Jerusalem: Reaching the Nations

Our vision as a ministry is to reach out to every nation on this planet earth. In the first letter to the Corinthians, Paul says that we are fellow workers with God, which means we are cooperating with Him. We therefore have a duty as believers to find out from the Word of God what He is doing, and to then give ourselves in Jesus and through the power of the Holy Spirit to do the same thing!

God is truly reaching out to the nations, and we as a ministry, want to show His love to the whole world.

Word from Jerusalem: Romans - Confirming the Origins of the Gospel

Paul made very important statements to the Church in Rome regarding the Jewish people and the national calling of Israel. But he also made an amazing statement saying that as a Jewish Apostle he is a debtor to the Greeks, the Gentiles and also the Barbarians. The question is why Paul would even differentiate between Greeks and Barbarians in the first place?

Word from Jerusalem: Romans - The First Gentile Church

Paul starts his epistle to the Romans in an extraordinary manner unlike any other letter he wrote. What he wrote would not be written to any of the other churches. He said he was "separated to the gospel of God which He promised before through His prophets in the Holy Scriptures." He's saying that this gospel of Jesus Christ didn't start in the Roman Forum; it wasn't invented by Roman citizens. It can be found, however, in the ancient Jewish writings we know as the Old Testament.

Word from Jerusalem - Romans: Why Was It Written?

Before Paul became a prisoner in Rome, he wrote an epistle to the church there which became one of the most important writings in the New Testament answering the question of how the Church should relate to Israel. This was relevant for believers 2000 years ago but is still relevant to the Church today.

Word from Jerusalem - The Significance of Aliyah, Part II

To call the Jewish return Aliyah, which means "to go up", gives special spiritual significance to this event. Many Jews believe that in returning to the land they are also returning to God.

The Aliyah of our day also shows that God is sovereign over the nations, that no matter how much they resist, no matter the quotas and blockades, no matter how much they try to hinder and stop the Jewish return, He continues to gather them to Himself as prophesied.
